Shopify Tech Lead
Shero Commerce, a full-service, global eCommerce agency, is looking for an experienced Shopify developer to join our team.
In this role, you’ll work closely with our design, development, and project management teams to bring UI design concepts, wireframes, and mock-ups to life. You’ll use your creative and meticulous eye for detail and expert-level skills in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other languages every day.
Experience with Shopify is a must; experience with Magento or other e-commerce technologies is a major bonus.
Key Tasks amp; Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality front-end solutions that meet business requirements, on time and within budget
- Work collaboratively with design, development, management, amp; QA teams
- Work on multiple projects
- Troubleshoot front-end issues amp; provide rapid solutions
- Follow best practices amp; coding standards
- Communicate progress, timelines, amp; deliverables; give updates in Standups amp; other meetings
- Participate in Shero mentoring, skill-sharing, amp; Code Clubs
- Contribute to improvements to Shero development
- Other duties as needed
Requirements
- Experience with Shopify (this is a must!)
- Experience with:
- HTM5L, CSS3, XML, cross-browser support, amp; mobile/responsive development
- CSS frameworks amp; pre-processors (like SASS amp; LESS)
- Javascript MV Frameworks (like Backbone, AngularJS, Ember, React)
- Familiarity with:
- CSS frameworks such as LESS/SASS
- Modern frameworks like ReactJS, NextJS, NodeJS or VueJS
- UI/UX principles
- The ability to:
- Produce clean, well-documented, amp; standards-compliant code, with an eye toward performance optimization
- Identify issues, errors, amp; bottlenecks, and provide solutions

- PHP
- NodeJS or other web server-side technologies
