Description
The Junior Developer role is a full-time, entry level position that supports the Small Business Unit at Shero. Additionally, the Junior Developer will assist the Developer team with BigCommerce builds. The SBU is a unique business unit at Shero Commerce and requires people who have industry experience, are meticulous, demonstrate attention to detail, have a passion for the technology space, can work at a fast pace, and have the willingness to learn on the job required. There are several roads for advancement in this role.
Key Tasks amp; Responsibilities
- Edit HTML and CSS for templates to make minor changes to themes and templates.
- Work with SASS to implement style changes.
- Update Javascript snippets correctly in the administrative system for tracking.
- Configure and function as the detail administrator for BigCommerce for SBU Clients.
- Pull assets out of design files.
- Work with a Style Guide to implement Typography, Colors, and Brand requirements.
- Document steps for functionality to clients.
- Utilize JIRA Tools for day-to-day operations.
- Utilize Figma Basics for client work.
- Proficient technical writing skills to better facilitate writing requirements and functionality.
- Work with Bitbucket using Git Flow to manage repositories and code bases.
- Handle a CI/CD pipeline through BitBucket and BigCommerce staging tools.

Requirements
- 6 months - 1+ years industry experience.
