Software Engineer
Printec, Albania

We are seeking for a driven Software Engineer with strong understanding of the complete life cycle of software development and willing to grow in the dynamic and ever-changing Financial Sector.

You will be responsible to analyze business requirements, design, modify, adapt amp; deploy Transaction Automation software solutions in some of the most demanding projects in our markets. You will ensure on-quality and on-time software implementation and support services to exceed our customer expectations. You will bring analytical thinking, exceptional problem solving amp; agility, best-practice sharing, communication amp; customer focus, and passion for technology amp; innovation.

Responsibilities

• Implement application software according to project requirements
• Participate in the analysis of business requirements and documentation
• Constant interaction with customers in a fast paced, demanding environment involving analysis of new user’s requirements, design specifications and prototyping
• Provide technical support to Printec Albania customers by using a system for recording incidents
• Communicate and clarifies the customer problems, participates in providing decisions.

Requirements

• BSc degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant field
• MSc in Computer Science will be considered a strong asset
• 3-5 years proven work experience
• Experience with MS Windows Server, Unix/Linux, Databases (SQL or/and Oracle)
• Apache Tomcat;
• MS SQL Server 2008 or higher;
• MS Windows Server 2008 or higher;
• Additional experience with:
• Experience in software support or software implementation with direct customer interaction;
• 1-2 years of working experience in C/C++/C# programming language is a plus;
• Experience on Application Servers;
• Excellent command of the English language and local language
• Problem solver and team-player, eager to contribute in complex projects and exceed customer expectations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Eagerness to provide highly efficient and reusable applications
